Nature Journaling Workshop

from 90.00

Nature journaling helps connect children to the world around them. In this class we will learn to slow down and really notice the animals and plants around us. During class we will go on hikes while stopping to sketch interesting finds. Instruction on observational sketching, use of art supplies and researching will be given throughout our time. Helping fine tune their observational and listening skills. Spending two days immersed in the forest will allow the children to notice the nature blooming and growing around them. The kids will experiment with watercolors, oil pastels, tempura paint, different kinds of paper along with many other fun materials.
